Chris O’Connell is a digital artist, author, and educator. He specializes in Digital Compositing, Computer Animation, University Lecturing, Graphic Design and Academic Course/Curriculum Development. With several years of experience, Chris has worked on a number of iconic feature films such as The Avengers (2012) and Mad Max: Fury Road (2016). With a unique talent for aiding in the creation of fantasy worlds and helping producers and content creators achieve their creative visions, he has built up several years of extensive experience as a successful freelance compositor, animator, and visual effects artist and has also worked on several television productions including Blackish, Brooklyn Nine-Nine and Modern Family.
His work as an educator began when he started as a freelance software instructor at Pioneer Training in Massachusetts, and from there, his passion for teaching continued to flourish. He has lectured around the world at a variety of different institutions including Elms College in Massachusetts and Raffles Design Institute in Singapore where he helped students develop their expertise in the arts.
