  Directed and produced this proof of concept trailer for Rummaround Productions Ltd.
  
  It’s a dark comedy about euthanasia, which forces us to confront our own feelings towards mortality, the complexities surrounding Right to Die movements, and the notion of assisted suicide, by charecaturing a set of characters who have embraced their own death to such an extent that it becomes a form fetishism. The film is in some senses a visual metaphor for the French term “petite mort” an orgasm which is near-death. Do we have the right to die? Are we truly free if we cannot decide what we do with our bodies? These are all questions Pires skilfully raises countless times in her film, never loosing her attention on the framing and characterisation, or her trademark wit.
