I’m a Digital Compositor with 6+ years experience in the industry. I’ve worked in both animation and VFX, although where I like to focus most of my time is in animation where I can expand and use my look development skills, one of my passions.
During these years I have had the opportunity to work across feature films, series and games cinematics/trailers. Working within these different environments has given me the ability to adapt quickly and use multiple workflows depending on the requirements of the project.

Senior Compositor and Lighting artist
Axis Animation
March 2021 - December 2022

During my time at Axis I’ve worked on a wide range of projects in quick succession that have all had a huge variety in style, from hyper realistic cinematics to more heavily 2D stylised trailers. Whilst I’ve mainly been a Compositor, for the last 10 months I’ve actually also started to do lighting in Houdini for some of my own shots as well.
As my tasks vary a lot depending on the project, I have regularly had the responsibility of:
- Character look development.
- Setting up the look of different sequences.
- Having to give 3D characters a heavily stylised look.
- Heavy 2DFX integrations.
- Check and fix technical issues.

Klaus (2019) - Netflix
My time on Klaus is divided into two main tasks. The first of them, being more technical, consists of combining all 2D and 3D elements within a shot, often within 3D space using projections and exported cameras, so that everything matches correctly according to Layout and so shots can be moved more efficiently through the following departments. The second task, being more artistic, consists of integrating all rendered layers together in an effort to give even 3D elements a 2D painterly feel. most importantly, working on this project has taught me the value of perseverance through technical problem solving and a heavy integration processes.

The Floogals Season 2 (2018)
Working across two different projects, one being fully CG and the other a mix between CG and live action, allowed me to learn industry standard working practices and to gain a good understanding of a proffesional production pipeline. Some of my responsabilities included taking shots through from the beginning to the end, having to keep consistency throughout all sequences (grading wise), CG and FX integration into live action plates, clean up and roto to remove wires and clean plates, creating comp effects (using 2D and 3D methods) and tracking of 3D elements to achieve a better integration with the plates.
