At the VOID I led the design of the Avatar system, which used the limited tracking data from the stage and other technologies to drive full body multiplayer Avatars. The Avatar system is now a feature-rich platform that is easy to build upon and provides highly expressive Avatars with real presence.

As the Technical Artist on this Mobile Match-3 game, I was given the task of matching the visuals of the film. To accomplish this I developed a pipeline that took large 4K plates from Nuke, split them into separate textures, took the characters at the top of the frame and created masked videos & FBXs that tracked the motion of that character.
The result of this was beautifully rendered backgrounds with perfectly composited characters that matched the quality-bar set by Universal Studios.
This is one of my favorite projects because I had to solve some very unique challenges, and I got to learn Nuke!
