  Created and animated graphics, sometimes receiving direction from a creative lead. Generally consisting of text intros/outros, lower 2/3 rd's, labels, icons. As well as compositing layers and effects to supplement MOA style animations. In addition to green screen duties and integration for live action style programs. Was responsible for editing, audio fixes, determining video resolutions and compression rates. Contributed to the hardware infrastructure and workflows within the start up environment. Co-managed the Motion Graphics department and attended interdepartmental meetings.

  I worked closely with the VFX Supervisor and a small group of international compositors. Who created many seamless images from challenging green screen sequences in a short period of time. Many of which were horses with riders and close ups of leading actors. I was responsible for keying, rotoscoping, painting, coloring, tracking and overall integration of shots.

  Stephen King's: The Mist
  This show was a lot of fun. The primary concern was the integration of multi-pass CG creatures and effects, that recede and disappear into a heavy "mist" atmosphere. There were lots of practical "mist" elements that were placed on cards and positioned in 3d space using Digital Fusion. These "mist" elements were chosen and timed, based on the animation of the CG to give the appearance that they were interacting with the "mist". So, when a tentacle moved there is a little practical mist mixed in to enhance the illusion.
  One of the shots has some blood and guts that I helped create the look for and even generated some particles through Fusion. I completed most of the roto on these shots as well as paint fixes to CG and wire removal on the plates.
