I’m a highly experienced freelance CG & VFX Artist. In the Commercials world I’ve led many award winning projects; both as an onset VFX Supervisor and as CG Supervisor. I’ve been lucky to work around the world, and I have lived and worked in Singapore, Australia and India.
I’m now branching out into Film VFX and am currently at Double Negative as a Sequence Supervisor.
I enjoy creative and technical problem solving, building departments, leading teams of artists and experimenting with almost every form of creative media. I’m very fortunate to have merged my career and hobbies, so this site is a mix of my professional and personal work.
I was recruited to head up the Commercials VFX Studio in Mumbai, India. My focus was on building relationships with production companies and directors, strengthening the talent in the VFX studio and supervising projects.
I grew the 3D department from a small studio to a 70+ seat facility able to handle VFX, stop motion, live action and animation with a proprietary character pipeline.
As Head of Studio I oversaw all creative and technical aspects of pitches and projects, whilst guiding pipeline development, R&D projects and IT infrastructure and managing the hiring and career development of permanent staff members and freelancers.
I was also CG / VFX Supervisor on many award winning projects for Honda, Sony, Intel and Coca Cola.
Recruited by the Polytechnic to design and teach the 3D animation course at Temasek.
During my time in Singapore I was also programming director for the Singapore Animation Festival, inviting distinguished animators and film makers from around the world.
