    Surface/Look Development Artist in the texture department under the creative genius Gino Acevedo (HOD). Primarily creating plant textures under Ula Rademeyer, for James Camerons Avatar in conjunction with shader department. Neytiri drinking from a purple flower (shot won 2010's Best Single Visual Effect at the VES Awards). Also surfaced props, trees, a creature, wardrobe, Navi Stripe Concept Art, Jakes Gun, Neytiri's Glass Necklace, The film called for a tool that could paint plants onto environments to cover the rainforest trees and forest floor I worked in conjunction with shaders to create the plant textures necessary for this paint effects tool. Eventually the technical aspects demanded look development from the texture department to achieve the photo realistic style necessary for James Camerons vision.
