QUALIFICATIONS
* Over 15 years of managing artists, maintaining schedules and budgets, working with Directors, Producers and Supervisors in animated film and television projects
* Work with Directors, Art Directors and Producers on a day-to-day basis to achieve the Directors' artistic vision, yet within guidelines of budget and schedule
* Manage team of artists in Design - Character, Sets, Color, Sculpting and PreVis to meet creative vision of Directors' within schedule
* Facilitate creative reviews and approval sessions and provide guidance to artists and Directors regarding production requirements
* Provide updates to Production Management regarding any changes, delays or requests
* Manage resources and cast artists appropriately to assignments and schedules
* Communicate daily with APMs and Supervisors of other departments to meet character and sequence confluences and goals
* Ensure art and materials are properly disseminated to reflect scheduled, in-progress, and completed work. Collaborate with PA to keep all data accurate and current
* Suggest production solutions, and work with Systems and Production Engineering to promote efficiency in production workflow for our team
* Use interpersonal skills to promote a collaborative production environment, and foster an atmosphere of creativity and good communication

Lead and solve production issues with Art Director for team of 15-20 Design artists
Manage design of Characters, Environments, Color, Sculpt and PreVis to achieve Director’s vision within budget and schedule
Work directly with Production Managers, Directors, Art Directors, CG Supervisor and Producers day-to-day to meet production milestones and deadlines
Oversee daily creative reviews with Directors, Art Directors and Producers
Cast, manage and issue assignments and deadlines to artists
Track inventory coming into department and deliver inventory to downstream departments- Modeling, PreVis, Layout, Fur, Materials, Assembly and Lighting
Communicate with departments and upper management regarding Design complexity and facilitate simplification and/or prioritization as needed in order to meet character and sequence confluences and feasibility
Update weekly status reports to Production Manager regarding scheduling, inventory and casting
Provide leadership in Design Department with Art Directors and deliver feedback in artists’ performance reviews
Update art and provide scheduling statuses in Shotgun
Supervise PA to keep all production art and data accurate and current
Monitor hardware and software needs and report back to Systems, Production Engineering to resolve and find efficiencies with technology
Work with Fox Legal to obtain legal clearances
Preparation of presentation art for Marketing teams and Fox studio executives
Coordinate art exhibitions and “Art of/Making of” books with museums and publishers
Worked with Promotional Content team for 6 months on Peanuts to deliver poses, film beauties for use in Domestic and International Marketing
