My skill-set includes generating and controlling fluid dynamics, using custom vector fields, forces and collisions. Controlling Rigid Body Dynamics by creating and passing custom attributes to different Houdini contexts. Development of custom system with specific parameters for simulation of particles or any dynamic phenomena. Creation of procedural systems using and combining expressions.

In general terms, I can create technical solutions and develop effective systems for different types of effects using and mixing Houdini operators such as sop, pop, dop, vop, shop and rop.

Experienced on guiding a team of FX Artist on a daily basis, maintaining, at all times an overview of the progress for assigned tasks. I work hand in hand with production department and head of effects in the assignment of shots, pre-establishing amount of time required to fully develop and deliver effects elements. I participate on VFX dailies and rounds with supervisors sharing creative and technical notes for artists to better approach the shots and get high standard of quality. I also participate on research and development of fx setups to automate repetitive tasks and generate consistent simulations on the sequences and shots.

Great understanding of Lighting, Rendering and Compositing effects elements using Mantra and Nuke.

Problem Solving skills that includes programming and integration of algorithms for better development of custom tools in Houdini.
