  • Asset Supervisor/Lead Modeller

    Cinesite

    January 2015 - July 2016

Working on the feature film Gods of Egypt as an Asset Supervisor and Lead Modeller. The work has included leading my own modelling team to achieve models to match photo reference, scans, and onset photo reference, having responsibility for the texturing team, being involved in client calls with the production company and the other VFX houses on the project, and working closely with the CG supervisor, VFX supervisor, and all other heads of department. My other tasks have included Bidding for assets on various feature films, working with the Pipeline department to help improve the pipeline for assets, creating various training documentation based around modelling and texturing for new joiners and other artists within the company, as well all working on the creation of an asset library. Working closely with all the leads, heads of department, and supervisors has only strengthened my understanding, and I have found that my leading skills have greatly improved, and that I am able to motivate my team to have the necessary work completed on schedule and to a very high standard.
