Business Operations
• Managed business of VFX with vendors worldwide on multiple projects at the same time.
• Initiated meetings with Filmmakers to determine which vendors will best meet creative and technical requirements of the film based on their expertise.
• Analyzed scripts for VFX requirements. This includes drafting detailed shot breakdowns and suggested methodologies to be used for bidding and budgeting.
• Partnered with Filmmakers, Studio Creative Execs, and Production Execs to insure uniformity in scope, budget target and level of quality.
• Facilitated the use of Previs technology to determine effective shooting methodologies.
• Worked with Line Producers and UPMs to identify, budget, and plan for all on-set VFX requirements.
Finance and Analysis
• Effectively managed budgets from $1,000,000 to $65,000,000 to ensure the entire VFX component of the project on budget, schedule and insuring quality control.
• Worked with VFX Finance Executive to draft budget and maintain up-to-date VFX cost reports and EFCs.
Vendor Negotiations and Management
• Collaborated with studio project attorneys to draft and execute Production Service Agreements.
• Interacted with Vendors on behalf of the Studio insure shots are identified and prioritized for delivery.
• Liaised with vendors and cutting rooms to track the progress of VFX shots and sequences from conception through final delivery.
