    Have been responsible in the management, mentoring, training and supervision of a team of up to 20 TDs and TAs at a time across the "performance" departments (assembly, edit, layout, animation and final layout) facility wide at Animal Logic.

    Working closely with RND, department supervisors and leads, CGs supervisors, production technology, production and artists to ensure the smooth technical running of the projects across the performance departments.

    POST VIS
    - Point person for most animation technical issues.
    - Work closely with incoming departments (Rigging/tracking/modeling) to ensure that animation could smoothly continue working.
    - Extensively troubleshoot Maya VP2 issues and workarounds.
    - The set up of FX particle rigs and processes to work with VP2 for review.
    - Shot work particularly for the more FX based post vis shots.

    ANIMATION
    - Point person for almost all incoming and out going animation issues.
    - Creating of tools for day to day use in animation in Python. Also tools that talk to Shotgun and pipe API for various shot building and managing tools.
    - Adding sanity checks for shot builds to ensure use of correct assets.
    - Working closely with supervisors, production and senior pipeline team to ensure the smooth (as possible) flowing of assets through the pipeline, create and implement processes to achieve this.
    - Creation and implementation of nCloth based feather de-intersection rigs to be used with existing animation.
    - Some nCloth based FX shots.
    - Troubleshooting and fixing for all departments of the pipeline (mostly animation centric.)

    - Problem solving broken shots coming in and going out of the department.
    - Work closely with animation leads and production to problem solve and help them get things done.
    - Investigate any rigging and asset issues be it creative or technical.
    - Understand the pipeline as a whole, not just the animation department.
    - Work with other departments to resolve issues that have or will arise.
    - Work with animators to ensure tools are working correctly and find temporary fixes/workarounds so that they can keep working as much as possible.
    - Be aware of ANY technical issues that arise in production.
    - Delivering assets/scenes to other department such as VFX, character final or down the pipe..
    - "Creative" uses/workarounds in Maya or other tools.
    - Work with other TAs and TDs to keep up to date with what is working and whats not.
    - A little scene based animation work.
