Breaking down and bidding new projects - including their movie, Mirlo.
Proposing different approaches to handling complex scenes and visual effects.
Reviewing the daily progress of the Artists in all departments.
Planning the technical development required to augment the pipeline - to improve quality, consistency, visibility and efficiency.
Planning the development of a Production Management system.
Drawing up the technical and workflow specifications for outsourcing work to external vendors.
Participating in the Story development and writing the lyrics for three songs in the Movie.
Interviewing and recommending candidates for the Movie.

· Oversee Scene Prep - the assembly and delivery of shots to the Animation Department (internal/external) that augment the Rough Layout shots with “production ready” assets (characters and props), in an environment that supports the path-of-action (sets).
· Oversee Character Finaling – augmenting character and prop rigs to support poses and/or interaction not handled by the current design. General QA for Animation that identifies and resolves animation issues magnified by rendering.
· Oversee Final Layout – addressing the final composition of a shot with respect to camera revisions, the continuity and placement of assets, and matte painting integration.
· Oversee Sweatbox Rendering and Delivery to Lighting – preparing and converting shot files from Maya to Mental Ray and rendering. Reporting on errors, quality, and aesthetic issues arising from the renders.
· Managing three teams of artists (ten plus) who look after the roles defined above on two feature films.
