Requirements include:
- Previous experience as a VFX Production Coordinator
- Highly organized, exceptional time/project management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to prioritize conflicting tasks and juggle multiple projects
- Software knowledge of Shotgun, Filemaker, Cinesync, MS Excel, Word
- Knowledge of Linux is a plus
- In depth understanding of live-action and CG based VFX workflow
- In depth understanding of common file formats and resolutions
Responsibilities:
- Works closely with VFX Producer and Supervisors to schedule, track and manage the workflow in order to meet deadlines
- Organize Dailies, rounds and meetings, taking notes and following up on information as necessary
- Ensure production database is kept updated daily with notes and key information before departing for the day
- Communicate any client sessions or meeting changes to the appropriate team member
- Communicating information quickly and concisely to crew and other departments
- Maintain accurate summaries of progress from previous day’s work by artists
- Manage all incoming and outgoing files from clients and ensure they are distributed to their corresponding departments
- Anticipate and communicate issues to Producer and Supervisor to resolve problems promptly
- Manage edits along with editorial department
- Take responsibility for knowing details of schedule and advising production crew members accordingly
- Manage resources and communicate clearly within each department
