As a Senior Animator, you will be creating an immersive and rewarding player experience. You will help establish our pipelines and determining the quality bar for our animations, while bringing to life believable characters and creatures. You will be collaborating with multiple disciplines to help define the animation style and content of our game. We expect to create high-quality and cutting-edge content. Collaboration across departments is paramount. 

Responsibilities  

• Create high quality and believable animations 
• Build or prototype animation blueprints and animation systems in collaboration with design team and iterate to create frictionless movement, engaging combat and memorable character / creature moments. 
• Consider feedback from stakeholders and translate into actionable plans when appropriate 
• Ensure communication across all relevant teams 
• Work with external partners 
• Set up and maintain runtime solutions for characters in UE5 including deformation and simulation (full body IK, physics, cloth, fabric, etc.) 
• Communicate challenges and opportunities of systems and tools to the rest of the creative team. 
• Listen to feedback from stakeholders and translate it into actionable plans when appropriate. 

Qualifications and Experience 

• 5+ years' experience as Technical Animator, Character Animator, or both. 
• At least one shipped AAA title. 
• Experience working across multiple disciplines.  
• Unreal Engine experience. 
• Understanding of and experience using motion-capture tools and assets (Optical and Markerless solutions).

• The hiring range for this position is $99,169 – $186,354 in addition to a bi-yearly performance-based bonus. The base pay may vary depending on the candidate’s region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
