Rigging Artist (Mid-level)

As part of the production of a stylized feature film, we are looking for 4 Mid Body Riggers to strengthen the rigging team. You will work on the creation and optimization of generic character body rigs, in close collaboration with the Rig Architect

Key Responsabilities:

  • Deploying the Dwarf rig solution
  • Creating body rigs for the project’s generic characters
  • Performing skinning with a strong focus on deformation quality
  • Making necessary adjustments based on feedback from the animation team
  • Presenting and explaining rigs and deformation behavior to animators


Must have:

  • Minimum 12 months of production experience (feature film, series, or video games)
  • Excellent command of Maya skinning tools
  • Experience with ngSkinTools is a strong plus
  • Strong interest in deformation and skinning work
  • Ability to work autonomously while respecting the technical constraints defined with the Rig Architect
  • High attention to detail, especially regarding deformation quality and readability

Bonus:

  • English fluency is a plus in this bilingual environment.
  • Good understanding of matrices and mathematical foundations related to rigging
  • Knowledge of the Unreal Engine environment
