Lola is looking for a talented lead Compositor to join our 2D team in Soho, London. You will lead a team of compositors on some exciting, high-profile projects, whilst working closely with the Head of 2D and collaborating with production.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborating on pitches, script breakdowns, bidding shots
• Working with the 3D dept to establish methodologies and Assisting artists technically and problem-solving scripts
• Establishing concepts, looks, and templates for sequences
•  Helping to develop the 2D pipeline
• Briefing and directing the comp team and overseeing workflow
• Communicating with production and other department heads regarding shot progress, creative approach, and schedule
• Liaising with team to address client comments and recording progress
• Attending dailies and client screenings
• Ensuring projects are brought in on schedule and within budget
• Managing remote workflow – from DMP artists to roto work

Qualifications:

• At least 2 years in a similar role
• Experience working on episodic long form projects
• Excellent understanding of VFX pipeline process
• Ability to motivate and mentor junior artists and promote team morale
• Attention to detail and the ability to multi-task across projects
• Knowledge of Python and ShotGrid experience desirable
