RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Creating 3D animations for humans, animals, monsters, and props
  • Delivering high-quality hand-keyed and mocap animations
  • Communicating with the Gameplay Animation Lead to ensure a consistent style
  • Working closely with programmers and designers to create gameplay mechanics
  • Collaborating with production to ensure a high-quality project that meets our deadlines


REQUIREMENTS

  • At least 5 years of documented experience as a gameplay animator
  • Very good knowledge of MotionBuilder
  • Skill in animating the human figure to create realistic animations
  • Experience in working with motion capture data
  • Good communication skills and experience collaborating closely with designers and programmers
  • Good understanding of keyframe animation principles and the ability to apply this knowledge to animation creation
  • Good understanding of game design principles and how to create animations that support the gameplay
  • Comfortable working in a game engine editor (Unreal Engine knowledge is a plus)
  • Proficiency in English


NICE TO HAVE

  • Good knowledge of Maya
  • Experience in animating realistic creatures
  • Experience working on a third-person-perspective action game
