We are currently looking for a Senior Level Compositor / Comp Supervisor to join our VFX team in Brisbane.
Located in our beautiful studio in Fortitude Valley, this is a full-time position with an immediate start. Contract work also available.
You will be responsible for creating highly realistic multi-layered composites of CG and live action footage for high end feature films, television series and TVC projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for maintaining high work standards
- Maintaining attention to detail in all aspects of production
- Leadership of compositing team, reviewing and providing feedback as well as handling shots
- Seamless integration of plates and VFX elements to create photo-real composites
- Execution of complex and demanding shots
- Experience with projections and the 3D environment within Nuke
REQUIREMENTS
- VFX industry experience as a 2D Supervisor or senior lead
- High level of experience working with visual effects supervisors and related crew
- 8+ years experience in photo-real compositing in both commercial or feature film projects
- Mastery of Nuke
- Strong understanding of colour and colorspace pipelines
- Expert knowledge in CG rendering, multi-channel EXRS and AOV’s
- Expert knowledge of compositing and integration of CG elements
- Strong artistic skills and a critical eye for maintaining a high level of execution
- Ability to work under tight deadlines
- Maya experience a plus
