Compositor (Senior)

This role is ideal for a strong mid to senior artist who’s ready to step up and grow within a dynamic team working on prestigious film and episodic projects.

As a compositor at ARC, you’ll work closely with supervisors, editors, and artists across departments to bring shots to final using Nuke or Flame.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute high-quality compositing for feature films and long-form content
• Integrate CG elements, clean-up work, beauty, and invisible VFX
• Collaborate with VFX supervisors and senior artists to interpret and achieve creative briefs
• Maintain shot continuity and manage versions efficiently within a shared pipeline
• Provide feedback and support to junior artists where required
• Troubleshoot and problem-solve compositing challenges with a solutions-first mindset

About You

• ​5+ years of professional compositing experience in film or episodic work
• Proficiency in Nuke and/or Flame (ideally both, or strong in one and eager to learn the other)
• Solid understanding of colour space, integration, and VFX pipelines
• Good eye for detail, composition, lighting, and photorealism
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Familiarity with editorial workflows, shot tracking, and file management
• Positive attitude, calm under pressure, and keen to grow in a fast-paced environment

Bonus

• Flame and Resolve-based finishing workflows
• On-set experience and a good understanding of the filmmaking process
