Mousetrappe is seeking a senior level Maya or C4D generalist with motion design & animation skills. The ability to execute a broad range of 3D tasks including modeling, texturing, look development, animation, and lighting. Primarily, this candidate will be required to take existing assets and environments and bring them to life through animation, lighting, and rendering. Comfort and skill to adeptly composite those elements back into the final After Effects project is a plus.

Position Details: 

• Motion graphics animator duties 
• 3D generalist duties 
• Working with CG leads, designers and creative directors 
• Iterate animation concepts and approaches quickly 
• Creative and technical problem solving 
• Animating, lighting and rendering heavy 3D scene setups. 
• Execute final composite in After Effects. 
• Organize and maintain clean projects. 

Skill Qualifications: 

• In depth animator and generalist understanding of Maya or C4D 
• Ability to learn new techniques and plugins 
• Knowledge of Particle FX, Redshift and After Effects is a plus 
• Strong organizational and communication skills 
• Patient and focused temperament under pressure 
• 5-7 years experience minimum 
• Available to work remotely within the North American continent is required. 
• Experience working in non-traditional formats a plus!
