My name is Michael Palmer. I am a designer from Philadelphia.
My work spans a number of media from print to web to motion graphics. I have worked as a designer for Penn State's e-Learning Institute, and I've been involved with freelance projects for a number of organizations including CollegeHumor.com and MiND TV.

Illustrated and animated a five minute video on financial literacy and responsibility.
The e-Learning Institute is dedicated to the daily activities of the College’s technology-based learning initiatives. This includes nearly 40 online and hybrid courses that serve over 12,000 enrollments a year.
My position, as a Graphic Designer, was to work with the Multimedia Specialists and Instructional Designers to create and manage content for online courses. This includes web layout design, interactive media design, motion graphics, and print design for informational material.
Designed layout and style for 135 page report on the social issues facing former Burmese refugees in eastern India.
Illustrated maps to complement the overall visual language.
Provided support in setting up a design consistent website.
Managed efforts to plan and organize over 30 events attracting crowds ranging from 50 to over 1100 people.
Designed organization identity including logo and online media presence.
Organized and implemented marketing strategies including flyer/banner design, web promotion, and street teams.
