Biography
I like making things. Mostly on the web. Usually with Rails.
Occasionally I try making things look pretty, but generally I make things that work. I like having ideas for things to make, and how to makes things better.
Experience

I finally joined the awesome development team at Mint. I get to make cool things with great people, solve interesting problems and learn loads every day.

Mint Digital
QA
I spent a couple of years honing an eye for detail while catching bugs.
I'm pretty proud of a couple of things during this time. First off, setting up and maintaining Jenkins (then called Hudson) and getting the team into Continuous Integration. Secondly, delving into the world of Selenium and automated testing (we made Pyrite, which was pretty cool: http://mintdigital.github.com/pyrite).

Channel 4 Internship
I won an internship through Channel 4 to spend 6 months with a small digital agency called Mint Digital. They still haven't asked me to leave, so I guess I did ok.
I mainly focused on ideas development, but I got to hang out in all the main departments of the company and learn how they work.

Education
Buckinghamshire Chilterns University College
Music Industry Management and
Recording bands and learning about business management. My dissertation was on genre theory (seriously fascinating stuff). We also thought a lot about the internet, technology and the intersection between the two.
