Making new fonts and designs
From custom illustrations, icons and fonts to branding and websites, I love helping people reach their goals in a creative way.
I love every aspect of my job. From brainstorming and concepts, all the way to a finished product that's ready to ship, sell and shine. (Say that 3 times fast)
If you're looking for something unique and hand-crafted then you've found the right place.
I worked within the large (10-20) development team on a small (2-3) user experience design team. I helped create and manage the design, flow and experience for two church management apps, InFellowship and Fellowship One.
Making stuff that's awesome
This is the job that began my career in web design. It was a great place to get my feet wet and learn under the direction of my technical supervisor. Sometimes I felt way over my head in .net code, but managed to learn my way around. I helped build everything from simple HTML to complex .net sharepoint portals. I was also able to help influence the direction of using web standards practices in all of our projects.
This is the most extensive education I, or anyone, will ever receive. It's about learning from your mistakes and growing up. There are no wrong answers. The rate of learning is completely up to your hunger and passion for what you want to do.
Thought about finishing my degree, but soon realized that school isn't for me.
Took a few classes to help with the boredom while serving in the military. I eventually had enough credits to get my associates degree.
Not only can Kyle design, he'll hand-draw your face off. He has mad skills (to pay to bills), converting sketches to vector illustrations.
