Working as the editor responsible for the Games channel and contributing to ITV.com’s other sections, I produced content and regular email communications, coordinated on-air and online promotion of ITV shows and services and managed relationships with third-party suppliers and partners. My work at Cimex focused mainly on youth portal need2know, produced and maintained for the then-Department for Education and Skills. The site’s purpose was to communicate important information to young people in a ‘non-Government’ way, using teen magazine styling and an approachable, trustworthy tone. As the site’s editor, I devised a style guide and set overall tone of voice for the project, commissioned and created content for online and mobile and sourced all imagery.
