Returning to work at the Apple Store CambridgeSide, I performed the same functions as during my previous tenure, primarily dealing with iPod & iPhone service, while secondarily dealing with the sale of Macintoshes, iPods, and third party products available in the store.

I played electric bass for Matt Germak, an aspiring Boston-based singer/songwriter who writes & peforms piano-based pop/rock music. I also handled administering the website, as well as the MySpace profile at www.myspace.com/mattgermakband.

Handled electric bass for this R&B / Dance-oriented group, which performs at bars & clubs which book cover groups, in addition to weddings, and private/corporate functions. I also handled the scheduling of rehearsals with all 8 members & the booking of rehearsal space every one to two weeks.

Responsible for the upkeep & readying of the main consumer training room at Apple's Boston Market Center. Set up hardware & software for a variety of training courses, ranging from introductory Macintosh to expert pro application training.

Performed on electric & upright bass along with four colleagues of mine in a bluegrass-rock style, with other influences as well.

In addition to this, I handled almost all of the internet-related promotion of the band, via both the band's website, as well as through the band's MySpace profile at www.myspace.com/chettheband

The Mac Specialist position, which I was initially hired to fill, was a sales associate position that required a knowledge of Apple's current & past products to answer sales & basic technical questions.

Eventually I moved on to be an iPod Genius, which was analogous to the Mac Genius position, although utterly unofficial. I would handle most, if not all, Genius Bar customers present for help with their iPod, while simultaneously keeping track of who had arrived for their appointment & who was hoping to be helped as a walk-in.
