David Conrad is a founding partner at Design Commission. As Studio Director, David's role is to engage new clients and facilitate successful projects. He's a visionary when it comes to connecting business, design and technology with a natural ability to identify potential and solve problems. Armed with over 15 years experience in designing websites and user experiences David currently teaches web design at the School of Visual Concepts and actively promotes the Seattle technology scene.

Design Commission is an interactive design studio with a focus on Web site design and interactive experiences. My passion for the Web makes DC the ideal place for me as I have the opportunity to work with some of the most exciting companies on the Web today.

During my brief time at Electronic Arts I worked with an incredible team of designers, developers and project managers on the launch of EA.com, the companies first, but ill-fated venture into on-line gaming. My responsiblities included interface design, marketing design and playing video games. I seriously had a PlayStation in my cube.

I was going to be rich... we all were. This would be my first, but not my last, "dot com" experience. 800.com sold consumer electronics (because we all knew what a good idea it was to sell 50 inch tv sets on the web... and then ship them across the country for free) and I was employee number 13 or 14 or something. My role at 800.com started out as a photoshop-jock and gradually transitioned into a banner-ad monkey.
