My University of Kent 4 year course included a year in industry - I decided to spend mine working in one of the UK's largest banks for a busy medium business team. My role as a Business Servicing Assistant included dealing with customers on a one to one basis, working closely with a small team of staff (whom I made many friends within) helping out management & senior relations staff with technical computer problems. Became known as the go to place for computer problem (particularly advanced Excel spreadsheets).

Counter assistant for Abbey National in Brentwood, Essex and then moved to Springfield, Essex. Involved handling large amounts of cash responsibly and dealing with potentially irate customers.
