Interactive Designer/Developer
Primary front end developer on Boston.com (200+ million views/year) from June until December (while thebostonglobe.com was being heavily developed).
Some projects include:
Developed the redesigned masthead.
Developed the Daily Deals email (20k+ daily subscribers).
Designed and developed the Boston Marathon web app with HTML, CSS, JS + jQuery Mobile Alpha) in less than 3 weeks (received 76k+ views/3days).
I also had some involvement in the implementation of thebostonglobe.com.

Initially created a video applying for a grant thought Digital Media Learning competition with the leadership and concept of Northeastern Lecturer Ann McDonald. That video won $150,000 which set the stage to design and develop the app. I worked with several other designers to flesh out the concept into a more refined state that was tested in classrooms.

Took their existing Electronic Medical Record service and created an architecture and work flow for all of the features to be implemented in a mobile device.

Teaching Assistant
Taught an auxiliary component of Interactive Information Design, a senior level course (which I had never enrolled) focused on having a student take some personal data and displaying it in an engaging interactive manner. I taught ActionScript 3, use of built in flash tools and gave independent critiques and suggestions about the best ways of displaying and interacting with information.
